Gun Belts
These belts are designed to support the weight of a full size frame semi-automatic handgun. The belts are cut from the "bend", considered the premium part of the hide. All of the belts I make are lined. I only make 1-1/2" wide belts. The two pieces of leather are cemented and then stitched together using the same heavy duty thread we build our holsters with. The outer layer of the belt has dye applied to it, the inner lining has a natural finish applied, and then the entire belt is sealed to protect the finish. Chicago screws, not snaps, are used to secure where the belt folds back onto its self to hold the buckle. I hand stitch the belt keepers, not staple them. My belts have seven holes spaced one inch apart.
I make the gun belt to the measurements you provide. Therefore it is imperative you provide me with accurate measurements following the instructions below. I will use this measurement to locate the center hole on your new belt. Give consideration the type of holster you will be wearing. If you wear an IWB holster, consider measuring with and without the holster in place. You may want to select a measurement between the two as the measurement you give me for the location of the center hole on the belt.
Do not estimate the size or use your pant size. All belts are custom cut, therefore they are not returnable.
If you are going to use the buckle we provide with the belt, measure your existing belt from the inside edge of the buckle to the center of the hole you normally use. I will use this measurement to locate the center hole on your new belt.
If you are going to use a buckle you already have, measure your existing belt from the fold where the buckle attaches to the belt to the center of the hole you normally use with your buckle. I will use this measurement to locate the center hole on your new belt.
